Halls of Residence
Our Halls of Residence is a home away from home. It’s an opportunity for students to experience a fun, independent lifestyle but still enjoy plenty of home comforts.

Our accommodation teams understand that transitioning from high school to University can be an overwhelming experience, which is why all of our first-year halls offer a safe and supportive environment to guide students through their first year.

In addition to social and recreational events organised throughout the year, our teams ensure that academic mentoring and informal study groups are available to encourage and engage our residents, and align them for personal and academic success.

Applications opened on August 1. Although there is no closing date for applications, we strongly recommend students apply by 30 September 2022 to ensure their application is included in the selection for a first offer, made in early October. After first offers, more places become available following withdrawals.

Further information on our Halls of Residence can be found HERE.

Education to Employment ‘Student Success’ Day

Join your Auckland ED&EM team for a day focusing on creating “Student Success”. We know students are feeling stressed and unsure about life after school, whether that be going into employment or doing additional training, especially after recent lockdowns. We want to build that confidence, resilience and drive so students feel prepared to successfully enter the workforce or take on a new training path.

Throughout the day students will rotate through three workshops learning about financial literacy, managing stress and well-being in the workplace, and a chance to chat with a panel of career professionals who have relatable and inspiring stories to show it can be done.

The event will be held at the MIT Otara campus from 9am-2pm on 21 October. There are limited spaces, so please register yourself, share the link with your students and have them register, or register on behalf of a student. This is a free event to attend with lunch being provided.
