On Thursday 4 May the Year 7 and 8 students went to a performance of "KO AU" by Auckland based Hip Hop and Street Dance collective Projekt Team at Auckland's Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre as part of the 2023 Pacific Dance Festival. Our students really enjoyed the experience and were impressed by the size of the theatre. The performance was about people feeling disconnected from various things in their life like culture, language, friendship groups and family. Our students took in the performance and were able to ask questions of the performers at the end of the show.
