Itinerant lessons have all started and I encourage all performance music students to be doing at least 10-30 minutes a day of personal rehearsal. This is the main homework for music students, as well as curriculum music tasks from time to time. 

If your son is in Year 7, lessons will start once an instrument has been sourced. Please be in contact with the music department if there are any issues with sourcing an instrument for your son. Any students who have not signed up for music lessons are encouraged to come and have a conversation with the music department staff.

Our St Paul's College choir has recommenced after a short break, under the leadership of Mr Terence Maskell. I would encourage anyone who is still interested in joining to come and talk with one of the music department staff as to how to join our choir. Rehearsals are during Break 2 each Tuesday.

Concert Band rehearsals are every Tuesday at 7.45am. Please ensure that your son is at all rehearsals on time and that he communicates with one of the band teachers if he is unable to attend for any justified reason.

I hope you are hearing your son/s playing music at home, as practice is the only way to become great.
