We are thrilled to commence the 2024 Reading Wall of Fame!

This is where students who read 20+ books are celebrated by having their photo on the Wall of Fame in the library, and a mention in the newsletter.

Encourage your sons to start recording all the books they read in their school diaries, and come and see Mrs Washer in the library when they have reached the 20 book goal.

This term the Year 7 to 10 students are focusing on getting to know and use the SPL Library. All classes come to the library once a week and we have a short discussion on topics such as fictional genres, non-fiction books and how the Dewey Decimal System works followed by silent reading of a book chosen by the student. Up to four books can be issued and taken home for three weeks at any time.
