February is the time of year where our Services Academy attends NZ Defence Force's annual induction camp. A two week camp at Whenuapai airbase under the watchful eye of NZ's army, navy and airforce staff. This is always a challenge for our young men, but one that they consistently embrace. This year is no different with our Services Academy excelling in team work challenges, fitness testing, problem solving activities and more. I am proud to be attached to this group who are resilient, positive, reliable and in my humble opinion, the best performing academy in attendance. Early starts at 5:30am and late finishes with minimal rest always push Services Academy students to their mental and physical limits, however St Paul's men never request to go home, never pull out of activities, never let the pressure get to them or be negative in their attitudes. Well done men, you have made me, your families, our College immensely proud.
