St Paul's College Celebrates 70 Years
On Friday 13 June, the St Paul’s College community came together to celebrate 70 years since the founding of our College. The evening began with a special Mass in the College Chapel, led by our College Chaplain, Fr Glenford Lowe, and attended by Old Boys, staff, students, Marist Brothers, Board members and members of the wider community.
We were privileged to hear from Br Colin Divane and Br Richard Dunleavy, who shared reflections on the rich history of the College, from its beginnings in 1955 to the present day. Their words and stories reminded us of the strong foundations upon which St Paul’s was built and the enduring spirit that continues to shape our school. The college choir, Confortare, performed beautifully, adding depth and reverence to the celebration.
Following the Mass, guests gathered in the Auditorium for an enjoyable evening of refreshments, conversation, and connection. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share stories, and honour the generations who have walked through the gates of St Paul’s College.
A sincere thank you to all who attended, especially those who travelled from far and wide to be part of this special occasion. Your presence helped make the evening truly memorable. We are proud of our past and look forward with hope and excitement to the years ahead.
