On Tuesday 20 May, we welcomed students and their fathers for our annual Father & Son Breakfast — a special tradition that celebrates the bond between generations.
We were honoured to have Tuifaʻasisina Sir Bryan Williams as our guest speaker. Sir Bryan shared his experience of being a young boy of Samoan and Rarotongan parents, living in Ponsonby. Although not an Old Boy of the school, being brought up in the area, he has fond memories of playing on our grounds, which have changed somewhat over the years! His personal message on hard work, perseverance, and resilience resonated deeply with our young men.
A heartfelt thank you to all the fathers, mentors, and father figures who joined us — your presence makes a lasting impact.
A special thank you to Mrs Ackland and Mr Toua for organising the event.
