Celebrating Our Young Men at the Sacramental Mass
On Thursday 11 September, our school community came together for a Sacramental Mass that was as joyful as it was meaningful.
Fifteen of our young men stepped forward to receive First Holy Communion and Confirmation—looking sharp in their cultural attire and bringing both nerves and excitement to the occasion.
Bishop Steve Lowe and Fr Glenford Lowe led the celebratory mass with warmth and energy, creating a service that was uplifting, powerful, and sprinkled with a few light- hearted moments.
The chapel was filled with reverence and pride as the entire school body joined the families of the young men in witnessing this significant milestone in their faith journey.
For these fifteen young men, it was a big step in their faith journey that marked a deepening of their relationship with God and the Church.
Their sincerity and commitment shone through every smile and handshake, and it was a privilege for us all to support them.
This joyful celebration not only honoured their growing faith but also brought our whole school family a little closer, a little prouder, and a lot more grateful for all our blessings.
