Our School Athletics Day, held on 10 March 2026, was a fantastic occasion that brought together students and staff for a full day of competition, participation, and school spirit. The weather provided great conditions the second time around after our first postponement and it was encouraging to see so many students actively involved, competing with enthusiasm while also supporting one another throughout the day.

A big highlight of the event was the level of participation across all year groups. Students competed across a range of track and field events including shot put, discus, long jump, high jump, the 800m, 200m, and 100m races. The day concluded with the always exciting relay races.

We were fortunate to have assistance from staff and several of our senior students who helped officiate and support the different events. 

Overall, it was a very successful Athletics Day that highlighted both the competitive spirit and positive sportsmanship of our students. It was pleasing to see students giving their best effort while also enjoying the opportunity to be active and represent their houses with some going all out with their costumes.

Special mention must go out to Rachel Keereweer for her continuous support with our school Athletics day securing the venue and providing equipment for all events held.
