This year’s Careers Day was a fantastic success, offering our students a front-row seat to life beyond the classroom. The campus was buzzing with energy as 41 exhibitors—including Auckland Airport—shared insights into diverse industries and future pathways.

A major highlight of the day was The Cause Collective, which brought their high-tech Tech Trailer. Equipped with six computer stations, the trailer gave students a hands-on experience in:

  • Professional Gaming
  • Digital Design
  • Animation

The interactive nature of the trailer, combined with the positive energy from our providers, made for a truly memorable atmosphere.

We were honoured to welcome back Michel Tu'akalau, St Paul's College Head Prefect in 2023 and current third-year Architecture student at the University of Auckland. Accompanied by his mother, Michel delivered a strong speech at the morning assembly.

He shared his journey of arriving in New Zealand with no English to becoming a leader in our community. While showcasing his impressive architectural designs, Michel spoke about the power of resilience and the importance of never giving up on one's dreams.

Events of this scale require incredible teamwork. We would like to extend our gratitude to Luka Nemaia for his vital role in organising and coordinating the day.

A huge thank you to the seniors who stepped up. Their leadership and willingness to help run the day made a huge difference to the wider school community.

The staff and students acknowledge the tireless work of Mrs Brayshaw in bringing Careers Day to life.
