Careers Expo

The First Rolling Careers Expo at St Paul’s College!

The Careers Coach is an unparalleled delivery method for the latest industry and training information directly into schools.

With its sides expanded, the Careers Coach creates a dynamic presentation showcasing New Zealand industry training organisations, tertiary institutions and defence forces. We were extremely lucky to be offered the Careers Bus sponsored by Connected – Skills and Hub City Centre – Ministry of Social Development. Every student Year 7 to Year 13 had the opportunity to go through the bus. The hall held the external providers who gave career information to the students. The external providers included: Techtorium, Defence Force, Whitecliffe Art School, Yoobee, MITO, BCITO, NZMA, NZ Tourism School, Cut Above and Quality Educational Services. The students were congratulated on their manners, grooming and respectful, inquisitive questions.

Five universities (University of Auckland, AUT, Massey, Victoria and Otago) gave a presentation to the Year 12 and Year 13’s in the afternoon – it was a wonderful day and the feedback from the presenters and students was positive.
