Catholic Caring Awards 2021

Certificates Awarded to Six Students

Six of our young servant leaders, Kaylis Ettles-Langton, Saints Tuitama, Michel Tu’akalau, Prague Chadwick, Kaynaan Pule and Hugo Llyod, were awarded with certificates during the annual Caring Mass at Christ the King Church, Owairaka on Wednesday 28th July 2021.

The Catholic Caring Foundation provides care and support to vulnerable families and communities in need. It is the day when we acknowledge the work that is being done in caring for the poor and those impacted by hardship. This generous work is carried out by the Catholic Caring Foundation assisted by support from the generous people of New Zealand.

It is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate all the good, caring work that is done in the community.

As Bishop Pat’s foundation here in the Auckland diocese, it is a real privilege for us at St. Paul's to support the cause and have our students assist in a little way in caring for the poor, marginalised and for those in need.

The Catholic Caring Foundation can only do this with the support of donors, volunteers, and the good will of the wider Catholic community. Students play a vital and important role in assisting the Church to provide the community the care and support it needs.
