Mr Mika Taito, Deputy Headmaster – Pastoral & Operations

Mr Taito comes to us from Auckland Grammar School where he was the Director and Head of Faculty of Student Services over the last three years of his seven years at the school.

Mr David Ryan, English

Mr Ryan joins our English Department and comes to us after teaching at Wesley College for four years. He is an Old Boy of St Paul’s College.

Mr Steven Sheldon, Humanities / English

Mr Sheldon joins our English, History and Classics Department and comes to us from Auckland Grammar School where he taught for two years.

Mr Daniel Lay Yee, Science

Mr Lay Yee joins our Science Department where he will be teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics. He joins us from the University of Auckland.

Mr Cameron Webster, Years 7 & 8

Mr Webster is well known to each of us and taught here at St Paul’s last year and returns to teach a Year 8 class this year.

Mrs Karen Orlanski, Science

Mrs Orlanski joins our Science Department where she will be teaching Biology and Chemistry. She joins us from ACG Parnell College where she taught for three years.

Mr Pravindra Taneja, Science

Mr Taneja joins our Science Department teaching Physics, Science and Mathematics too. He has taught in schools including Kelston Girls High School, Hillary College and Marcellin College on a refresher course.

Mr JP Fa'amausili, Mathematics / Commerce

Mr Fa’amausili will be teaching Mathematics at St Paul’s on the Teach First Programme. He is an Old Boy of St Paul’s College.

Mr Terry Gruijters, Property Manager

Mr Gruijters takes on the role of Property Manager. Mr Gruijters has a passion for property management with experience in the maintenance of St Mary’s Parish in Avondale. He comes to us from Auckland Grammar School.
