Congratulations to Mark Tautele!

Mark Tautele, this year's 1st XV Rugby Player of the Year, received the inaugural Terry Horne Cup donated by the Puletiuatoa Family, in honour of St Paul's most successful coach through the halcyon years of 1968-1972.

As a blockbusting prop, Mark was inspirational in a young and inexperienced forward pack. Quiet by nature, but fearless, hardworking and a rugby-savvy player, Mark led from the front, whether busting through defences, scoring tries or stepping up as a capped senior leader and captaining the team in William Piliu's absence.

His consistent efforts this season earnt him a spot at the Blues U18s Development Camp, but a late-season shoulder injury precluded his rep aspirations. However, Mark has a bright future ahead and it is hoped he will kick on at club level next season.

All the best Mark, and thank you for your service to the team over three seasons.
