Year 10 Drama week ending 25 Sept 2020

Ms Steven's year 10 English students performed their group plays to their peers this week.

Both Year 10 classes had been studying the NZ play "Niu Sila " a New Zealand play from the combined wit and talents of Oscar Kightly and Dave Armstrong. It is the hilarious story of an unlikely friendship. The themes of the script resonate with St Paul's students. The boys performed their scenes to each other and to St Paul's teachers and students in the Champagnat Auditorium during the week.

The young actors displayed confidence and an understanding of character.  Seth McCarthy's team won the "Oscar for Best Group Performance" and Falakiko Sosefo won the "Oscar for Best Actor"

Thanks for Ms Stevens for organising this event
